Word of the Week

Who knew that two little girls under two could generate SO MUCH WASHING?!

The washing machine, aged 5 1/2, was on its last legs before our family grew... But I can hear it weeping as it spins, very noisily, through its second or third load of the day.

Lowen is quite sicky... Not just into a muslin, nope, everytime I put on clean jeans... And baby poo does manage to leak... Needless to say these loads are unavoidable.

So, the soundtrack to my first week flying solo now D is back at work...

  1. I know the feeling. My children are 13, 11 and 18 months and my washing basket is never empty,no matter how much I try. I have no idea how they produce so much washing ;) #WotW

  2. I have four children and the machine is consistently on. I don't know what we'd ever do without it!

  4. Oh yes, I can so relate! Little Man was a very sicky baby, too - the amount of bibs, muslins, babygros and my clothes I'd get through at every feed was ridiculous! My first waking thought is often about my washing loads for that day - sad but true fact ;-) Thanks for sharing with #WotW x

  5. Aw bless them, I hope that you are coping and not spinning too much. I have four children and two of them are sport nuts so I am constantly using the washing machine, so spinning is a good word for this house too.

  8. Aah you just reminded me to empty one load and add another. Same thing after that. And after that. #wotw

  9. It does get better I promise (either that or my standards are lower than everyone else's). Having said that my messy children seem to have been replaced by razor blade-knee children and everything seems to have holes in! I don't know which is worse! #WotW

  11. Yes, with a toddler and a mechanic husband, my machine is pretty non stop too! We brought a new one last year as the old one just gave up one day. #WotW
