Family Photo Friday #24- 20/06/2014

On Sunday we celebrated Lowen's baptism. We had a beautiful day with our closest family and friends. 

Trying to get a photo of Lowen's godparents proved tricky, however. Either the kids looked lovely and non of us were looking at the camera, or the kids looked like they'd had too much Pimms. Never work with animals or children, right?

I enjoyed looking through Caroline's holiday photos last week over at Becoming a Stay at Home Mum. She spends lots of time with her family and always does a great job of snapping what's been going on!

Family Photo Friday #20 - 23/05/2014

I've fallen in love with my camera again this week. We had some disagreements with focus and I was getting frustrated but I'm pleased to report that we are back on track - phew! 

Two photos from me this week - a rare sight to have me in front of the camera, really, but it happened twice, on different days! So, a picture of me with each of my daughters. This week I'll work on getting one of all four of us. It's not happened yet, I don't think!

Family Photo Friday #16 - 25/04/14

I can't lie. I've not been a very good blogger the last couple of weeks.

The Easter holidays got taken up with stuff and zoomed by, we were away for my birthday and Easter and I managed to miss my blog's first birthday which I was quite sure was this weekend not last! 

We had a lovely weekend away with some of our closest friends and their children in Brackenborough, Lincolnshire. Sadly I managed to spend the whole weekend behind the camera and failed to get a photograph with me in it, but I had to share my favourite photo of the weekend. I'm unsure who is the bigger kid.

Better late than never right? I've been spending the last 24 hours trying to log into my LinkyTools account and failing, hence why Family Photo Friday is pretty late off the mark. But I'm here now! 

Despite D being home this week, we've not done so well on the photo front - but I had forgotten about this photo of D trying to help E over her slide fears while at a birthday party last weekend... I think we've cracked it!

Family Photo Friday #13 - 28/03/14

We enjoyed a visit from one of our favourite sets of people last weekend and made the most of dry weather to get out and get walking. We even managed a few geocaches! We stopped for a quick photo - poor Lowen is in the pram in the underneath seat - so once again, she was there for the photo, just not in it. Second child issues? Must try harder!

I had some problems with the linky last week, it shut far too early so quite of few people weren't able to link up. Annoying and not the first issue I've had - let's hope that's the last one!

I won't lie - I'm finding it hard to make time in my day for social media right now, and I've neglected my blog the last couple of weeks. I know, I have a good excuse, but I hate feeling like I'm doing a bad job.

Anyway, I finally got a photo of us all while we popped out for some fresh air last Sunday. Lowen is there, even if you can just see the top of her head peeping out from the top of the Moby!

Family Photo Friday #7 (on a Saturday!) - 14/02/14

Oh my days, what a week! 

I've been super busy as I finished work on Thursday to start maternity leave, and in my hectic-ness didn't have a chance for a photo or my linky sorted in advance, then we had a day without internet working... Goodness!

It's been a wet and windy one, hasn't it? I hope everyone's in tact, OK and safe and that the bad weather hasn't left the cameras in hibernation.

I reeeeeeally struggled to choose my favourite picture from last week. In the end, I settled with Mummy Morkus' photo from L's baptism... Now, I know I took this photo but that's not what it's about... These guys have to be the most wonderfully colour coordinated family I've ever met, they matched each other, and they matched the church! Don't get it? Pop over and see what I mean....

A week into a new month already, how did that happen? Life seems to be passing so fast! This week I photographed my friend's daughter's baptism and forgot to get any photos of us... Hey, ho, here's a picture of D and E being silly when we were out last weekend, in my favourite window!

I took advantage of having a friend with me to snap a quick family photo of us when we were out walking last weekend... I love that we have these photos. There aren't many more opportunities for pictures as a threesome... Roll on the foursome!

Family Photo Friday #1 - 03/01/2014

I'm SO excited (and really nervous) to be starting my very own blog hop today! 2014 is set to be a big year for us, and while 2013 is well documented, there's no quick way of me looking back to see how we've changed... So this was my inspiration for Family Photo Friday. You can read a bit more here.

My photo this week was taken yesterday when we finally saw some sunshine and were able to get out to blow the festive cobwebs away and enjoy some fresh air. Cabin fever was setting in, and it doesn't matter how many new toys are in the house, sometimes a change of scenery is the only the only way.
